Every person find someone who will make him/her feel good about herself. This person can be her life and maybe her death. But, just like any other love story, most of them have bitter endings. It is very fortunate for people to end up with a fairytale like stories and continue with the so-called "Happily ever after".
There are several things we must learn from our past experiences:
1. Coming up from a break from a more than a year long relationship isn't easy. Take time to reflect before entering into another relationship. Always remember to love yourself. Loving oneself isn't selfishness. It's a preparation to become a better person for a future partner.
2. When you're into a relationship, forget all your hang-ups of the past. Welcome changes. You are there because you opened doors.
3. Love the ones you're with before they're gone. You never know their worth until time tells you, you're missing a big part of your life.
4. Don't let your emotions ruin you. You'll regret your silly actions.
5. Don't act as if you're not you. You know who you are. You know the goodness that grows within in you. Let it grow. That's who you have been. That's what your friends see, a reason that made them love you.
6. Stay in your nice character. That's the attitude!
7. Be thankful of the people who cherishes you.
8. Don't overthink. It harms you and your relationship.
9. Stay positive. When you are a positive person, you don't think bad about your partner. You always believe in love.
10. Stay in love. Love conquers all. Love doesn't see any evil.
11. Forget the past. The past is closed book. You learned a lot. Use that to grow. But never open any conversation about it. That's rude and that can cause harmful misjudgment.
